Time to sweat out the alcohol and burn off the feta cheese!

Club 69 - New owners for '06, now owned by Apostolis (who used to work in Barcode, we think!)

Downtown - The company that imported Edam into Greece is also responsible for Downtown (we had to get the cheese thing in somewhere), yup, no doubt about it Downtown is the Trojan horse of cheese! An innocent looking establishment on the outside as it's virtually underground. When you walk to Downtown all you will see is the Downtown sign and the small windows looking into the club, the club is amazingly soundproofed! Chesney Hawkes may be telling the world that he is the one and only, but from the outside all you can hear are the relentless crickets. Tony runs the club and will open it on a Wednesday during off season for the locals and any people loitering behind! This season, after a year away, Peter from Crackers will be spinning you those classics! Downtown is a place to escape the hardcore clubbing types but still work up a sweat while wearing clothes, miss it at your peril!

Flamingoes - Very small for a club but a pretty good atmosphere can build up in here, you just have to wait for the people to come in first. Pure Temptation was on here last season. You'll either love it or hate it. Honcho had his first non UK based snog in here with a posh scouser (apparently they do exist!)

'Who? Women who have got off with me or posh scousers?' - Honcho

Honey - Changed its name during the 2006 season from ZOOM. Pure Temptation plays here on Monday nights and is always their busiest night and everyone seems to enjoy it! Honey is next door to Sugar so one club is always heaving and one is half empty! It may seem quiet but don't leave to soon as it does get kicking. London DJ, DJ SHOX, will be playing at Pure Temptation as resident DJ and you can see him in Liquid most week nights from June 12TH.

Mad Club - Open from 11.30pm till 3.30am Sun - Thurs, and 11.30pm till 6am Fri and Sat. Part of the popular Stone Roses chain. If you like Indie and Rock this should be on your list of places to visit.

Metro - Karaoke lovers will feel right at home here, it's kind of like a pre-club-club. Situation: You're sat in a bar, music goes off at midnight, you want some more tunes to sing along to, what you need is Metro! If you've never sung before in front of a crowd this is the best place to do it. Where else are you going to get the chance of 100 people all drunk and up for a good time and chances are you wont see any of them again? Nuf said!

Porkys - There is some pretty good Greek music out there, we love Antique (Swedish/Greek duo) and Anna Vissi (think Greek Maddonna) and Porkys is the place to hear this and other types of Greek music. Worth a visit!

Sarai - Plays Greek music. MORE COMING SOON

Starlight - First opened it's doors in 1981 and it was originally an open air 80's disco venue, hence the name, holds more than 1000 clubbers and 100,000+ pass through those doors every summer. UK resident DJs Jeff P and S.O.B play the latest funky house, UK garage, RNB, Old Skool and all the commercial summer anthems 7 nights a week!
Summer saw some fantastic event nights; Judge Jules, Ratpack, the regular Hed Kandi and loads more!
Us at Inside-Kardamena can't get enough of this fantastic club. Saturday is foam party night. €20 (about £14 gets you entry and your first drink free. If you don't go here while on holiday you must be mad! Honcho took his step-dad in one year and he loved it! Also a little cheaper for drinks than Status. Pay it a visit, you'd be crazy not to!

Status - You know what they say about either liking Elvis or the Beatles, you can't like both the same (ask your folks) well the same is said about Status and Starlight. Status is a little smaller than Starlight however it's closer to town. Usually open earlier in the season than Starlight so in May it's mainly full of workers. Music sets get a bit predictable if you visit this club often. Free entry before 1AM.

Sugar - Next door to Honey so it has some close competition, however Honey usually tends to win and seems busier when we've been in. Sugar does tend to stay open later in the season though - for those of you still out in October or November you'll be glad of this! Old Skoolers will remember this club as Tropicana.
