Adelphia - Very popular place amongst the Greeks and the tourists. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table to become free. Very good menu priced a little above average but you get what you pay for! Not heard a bad word about this place!
Amazon - 3 Courses and all drinks for free for €20 last season. Ok if you like that sort of thing but lets face it, they have to make a profit somewhere. If you just want any food in your belly and any drink down your neck then you'll love it, if you're a bit more choosy then don't bother!
Andreas Rooftop Restaurant - A beautiful restaurant overlooking the harbour. Long established and with a good reputation for it's food. The tables and chairs are wood which just feels better than sticky plastic chairs. Recommended!
Annas - Situated close to The Rok and the quieter part of the beach. Jump on a sun lounger, order a Mythos and sup it out of a frozen glass. Bliss! Good food and cheap prices with great service.
Aramis - Another very popular restaurant. A lot of the workers eat here so expect it to be good food, big portions and easy on the wallet. Very big menu and excellent chefs. Try the Grandmothers lamb it's fantastic! Dimitris is the owner and is clearly passionate about his food! Not to be missed!

Ariadni - Always busy when we've walked past, found out why when we went in! Excellent food and great service, the staff can't help you enough and seem quite enthusiastic about the dishes that they serve! Mrs Honcho loves this place so it must be good!
Atlantis - A very quiet and relaxing restaurant. Excellent menu and very well cooked food. Away from the madness of the village centre. Free sunbeds available here to.
Avli - Wow! This is one of the best places to eat in the whole of Kos! Not only is the food out of this world but the setting is fantastic. One of the first houses built in Kardamena and now an amazing restaurant with over 200 dishes on the menu! We've never heard a bad word about this place! If you love food make sure you visit them! If you are celebrating an anniversery or such like ask for the private table in the wine cellar, very romantic. Photos of old Kardamena on the walls and a wishing well in the courtyard. Rated in the top 300 restaurants of Greece!

Bee Garden Chinese Restaurant - Nice food and good service. Very well priced and a good range of choices.
Blue Note - Popular for their breakfasts. This restaurant attracts a lot of repeat business which is the true holy grail of hospitality. Varied menu and decently priced. We found no particular reason why it keeps attracting people back but there must be one somewhere!
Camelot - Average restaurant. We've been here twice, once was excellent and once was very poor. Service and setting was fine but the food just lacked everything when we went the second time. Definately need to review this place again! Would be interested to hear from others who have been here. Now has a live lobster tank!
Cocomos - If you don't get on with foreign food then come here! The do serve continental food but the attention to detail here is great. Ask for a full English breakfast and that's what you get! No substitutes!
Costas (Kostas) - Good food, good service, modest prices and enthusiastic waiters. Have a decent breakfast then stumble into the Venue nextdoor for a Mythos to wash it all down with!
Dimitris - Closed down, now know as The Alexander, same people who own Camelot
El Greco - Another restaurant famed for it's English breakfasts, well, famed for the sheer size of them. Enormous portions no matter what you order, all at a very reasonable price!
Fat Olive Used to be known as Papagalos-on-the-beach. A really great place to visit. If you are a food lover and enjoy trying different things head on here! Owned by a great guy called Dimitri. Expect to pay a little bit more than average here but what you'll get will be worth it!

Fu King Gu - Chinese restaurant. Honcho had the Lemon Sauces chicken here and vows it's the best Chinese meal he has ever had! Mouthwatering from start to finish, don't miss it! On the harbour front.
Genesis - A great family restaurant ran mainly be George and Stella. The whole family are genuine nice people who'll give you great advice about what to do on your holiday. Not only is the service fantastic the meals are great too!
Giannis - Good food at higher prices but the quality is fantastic A proper restaurant experience, only bettered by Avli. You may be expected to wait when it's busy so just pop over the road to the Garden for a quiet drink. Excellent service.

Hellas - Rated 'Very Good' by Jaygee112. Pizzas are their speciality, the garlic bread with cheese is to die for!
Jakes English Bar - Bangers and mash (with real bangers), fish & chips and Sunday lunches - you'll forget that you're in Greece!

Laikon - Excellent traditional Greek food but also popular for their pizza. If you are to lazy to walk into the village they'll even deliver it to your apartment!

Loustros - Mel and Dimitris will look after you here! The food is excellent, menu extensive and the views are to die for (the sea AND the PR's!) Serving food from 8AM to Midnight since 1980, that's a lot of practice and you can taste the difference compared to a lot of 'get you in-get you out' places! Good views from the rooftop. Our very own Lex worked here during 2006. Mel is really strict with the quality the kitchen produces so everything gets her seal of approval which means you'll not ever have a bad meal here!

Nemo - Exceptional food with great, friendly service! A very popular restaurant and you are sure to leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. The fish is fresh and local caught and tastes amazing! We were fishing in front of the restaurant and the staff gave us some advice and promised to cook anything we caught (we went home hungry that night!). We can highly recommend the chicken in honey and mustard sauce, it's lovely! Captain Stavros works here, a top bloke who'll do any thing for you (we saw him in Downtown and he bought us a drink!)
Paradise - Great place to start your day with their breakfast and after you finish your food you can roll straight onto one of their sunbeds to wait for it all to digest!
Pizza House Koala - Ran by George. Pizza cooked in traditional stone oven, salads and pasta. George also makes a mean crepe!! Prices compare well with other pizza restaurants.
Posidonia - Across the bridge and away from the crazy part of town, this restaurant attracts some of the more quieter people, even the locals like to come here so as you would expect their traditional food is top notch and service and setting is fantastic!
Romanos - Average restaurant and food. Nice setting though, right on the sea front. Cheap!
Salt n Pepper - Opposite Chilli Peppers bar. This place is famed for it's Mexican food so if you want something with a bit of bite to it after all that Amstel and Mythos head over here! Quality food and a great price.
Scala Roof Top - A very popular restaurant, especially with the workers and locals. Gentle music, quality food and good prices! Overlooks the harbour and the views from the roof are superb.

Sizzlers - Previously known as Lazy Days. Great new menu and something different than a lot of other restaurants. Located up towards Bannana Beach.
Steki - One of our favourite take-aways, don't know why! We are usually drunk by the time we pay Stekis a visit but it seems to make the gyros go down even better! Great place!
Ta Adelfi - Located over the bridge towards the quieter end of the village. Usual menu of Greek, English and Italian. Nice large portions and good value for money.
Taj Mahal - No night-out on the lash is complete without an Indian! Excellent food and great service makes Taj Mahal a memorable night! The decor is authentic providing some great photo opportunities. Serves Halal food also! The lovely Penny will look after you and if you are a worker she'll discount you a few Euros. Also does Take-Aways!

Tasos - Honcho makes sure that he goes there every time he visits Kardamena. The food is really spot on. If you like Greek food and want to experience the real deal make sure you come here! Fantastic tzatziki that will keep the vampires away forever! The moussaka served here is the best we've experienced in Kos!
Tasty Corner - Popular fast food take away. Serves everything from baked spuds to baguettes, chips and burgers as well as your usual kabab! Very clean and the service is fast. Large portions, cheap prices. The perfect place to fend off those alcohol induced hunger pangs!
Teos - Very good restaurant. Great location off the square on the sea front. We had kleftico in here and tried to cook it when we got home (we failed). Good prices and excellent staff. Gets a big thumbs up from us!
The Old Olive Press - Liotrivi - A change only in name. This restaurant is fantastic. Not a place for your burger munching, pizza eating chavs. This is a place to visit if you want a mature meal in good, quiet company. Exceptional food and service and a nice view over the water to Nisyros Highly recommended!
Wok 888 - Good quality food and good prices, for €20 you'll feel like you've eaten a feast! Nicely decorated restaurant with attentive staff and a large menu which includes British food too.
