Kefalos

There's loads to do at Kefalos!

There's to much to do in Kefalos for us to write about here, so we'll try to give you the nuts and bolts.
The strong breeze that refreshes Kos during the summer makes Kefalos the best place on the island for wind surfing. Many visitors staying at other places on the island pay a visit to the friendly village of Kefalos to sample the windsurfing and some of the best restaurants on the island.
A little more tranquil than the sometimes in-your-face atmosphere of Kardamena, Kefalos attracts a larger amount of mature visitors, mainly from the UK, Scandinavia and Germany.
A nice day out for a change of scenery and only 15-20 minutes in a taxi. Well worth the visit!

Amaniou

Go Horse Riding!

Keep the ladies happy with a guided ride into the Kos wilderness! Alfa Horse is owned by an English speaking German couple. Their website can be found at: www.alfa-horse.com

Marmari

Lido Waterpark

Situated between Marmari and Mastichari, this huge waterpark opened in May 2006. Opens in May and closes sometime in September depending on the weather. Costs €17.50 for entry (about £12). Park is open from 10AM to 7PM with the attractions closing 1/2 an hour before the park does. 12 pools with loads of different slides and plenty of safety guards. Near Kos Town

Shape Waterpark - Expensive for what there is to do here. Can get quite busy so go on a Tuesdays when most people go to Turkey so less waiting to get on the slides. Lots of places available to book or you can go through your reps, this will cost you more but you will end up going with other people you've made friends with!

Tingyaki

Nudist Beach - Become one with nature (again). Popular with middle aged Germans who love to let it all hang low and with young British couples. A lot of the pleasure boats anchor up just off the coast allowing prime gawping positioning!
