TRANSPORT AROUND KARDAMENA & KOS
Going around the island or just getting about town, to save your weary legs here are the best places to get some transport.
TAXIS
To and from the airport will cost you €15 - €20 and take 10 - 15 minutes. There are usually plenty of taxis outside the airport during the season and the best place to flag one down in Kardamena is the taxi rank by the square.
CARS / SCOOTERS / QUADS
A 4x4 will cost around €40 a day or €110 for 3 days.

For most hire cars:
- Rental prices are all inclusive of full insurance with collision damage waiver and personal accident cover, unlimited mileage and VAT. The only extra is petrol.
- Minimum rental is 1 day.
- Often if you rent a car for a week you only pay for 6 days.
- Child, baby and booster seats can be supplied usually at no extra charge.
- Cars can be delivered to your hotel collected at the airport or picked up from the hire shop.
- Cars are usually in extremely good condition and are professionally serviced on a regular basis.
- Most cars are provided with 24 hour independent breakdown service with full island coverage.
